Journeys To Treasury
Privacy Policy - Journeys to Treasury
1. Who we are
This website is operated by the Journeys to Treasury partners: BNP Paribas, the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), PwC, and SAP (together, “we”, “us”, or “the Partners”).
Journeys to Treasury is a collaboration that publishes insights, reports, case studies, and related content for corporate treasury professionals, and that invites professional questions through Ask JTT. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use this website.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Partners act as joint controllers of personal data collected through this website.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data collected through this website, including the Ask JTT page and forms linked from it. It does not apply to the websites of the individual Partners, or to third-party sites we link to, including LinkedIn and journeystotreasury.com. Those sites have their own policies.
Our use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy published alongside this notice.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the site and to respond to you.
Information you give us
• Identity and contact details you submit, such as name, email address, organisation, job title, and country, if a form asks for them.
• The content of your enquiry, including treasury questions submitted through Ask JTT.
• Any other information you choose to include in a message.
Ask JTT questions are collected on a Microsoft Forms page linked from this site. Submitting that form takes you to Microsoft, which processes the submission for us.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, our hosting platform, Squarespace, may collect:
• IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
• Pages viewed, referring URL, clicks, scrolls, searches, and timestamps.
• Approximate location derived from the IP address, and cookie identifiers.
If you use a commerce or download feature on the site, we may also collect the details needed to fulfil that request, such as name and email. Payment card data, if any, is handled by the payment provider and is not stored by us on this website. [Delete this sentence if the cart is unused.]
We do not intend to collect special-category data, such as information about health, religion, or political opinions. Please do not include that kind of information in a question or form.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies are used only where you accept them through our cookie banner, where a banner is enabled. Details, including cookie names and durations, are in our Cookie Policy.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data with service providers who process it on our instructions, and with the Partners where needed to answer your enquiry:

Squarespace and Microsoft may process data in the United States and in other countries outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on an approved safeguard, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision, together with any supplementary measures the provider applies.
8. How long we keep data
• Form and Ask JTT submissions: for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the exchange, and then for up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required for a report, an event, or a legal claim.
• Analytics data: in line with the retention period set by Squarespace, generally for as long as the analytics cookies remain active.
• Cookie consent records: for as long as needed to show what you chose.
We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use the technical and organisational measures provided by our hosting and form platforms, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor security practices. No website can guarantee absolute security.

• Correct inaccurate data.

• Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
• Receive data you provided in a portable format, where processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means.

• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
In Belgium, where the collaboration is coordinated, the authority is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be). You may also complain to the authority in your country of residence.
To use these rights, contact us at the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We aim to respond within one month.

This site is aimed at treasury and finance professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Third-party links
Links to LinkedIn, Partner websites, Microsoft Forms, and other external pages leave this site. Those organisations are responsible for their own privacy practices.
