Journeys To Treasury
Cookie Policy
1. About this policy
This policy explains how the Journeys to Treasury website uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
The site is operated by the Journeys to Treasury partners: BNP Paribas, the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), PwC, and SAP. The site is hosted on Squarespace.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser, keep the site secure, remember a choice you have made, or understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
Some cookies are set by us, through Squarespace. Others are set only if you move to a third-party page, such as the Microsoft Forms page used for Ask JTT.
3. The categories we use
Strictly necessary. These cookies are required for the site to load securely and for forms to work. They do not require consent, and they cannot be switched off from our banner without breaking the site.
Analytics and performance. These cookies help us see which pages are used and how visitors move through the site. On this site they are Squarespace Analytics cookies. Where a cookie banner is shown, they are placed only if you accept them.
Advertising. We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and the banner before those cookies are placed.
4. Cookies used on this site
The cookies below are those Squarespace places on a site of this kind. Names and durations follow Squarespace’s published list. A cookie appears only if the related feature is in use. Commerce cookies apply only if a cart or checkout is used.
Strictly necessary
Analytics and performance
These cookies are used to populate Squarespace Analytics, including traffic sources and unique visitors. They are non-essential. Squarespace allows the site owner to disable them, and the cookie banner can block them until you accept.
We do not currently connect Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising tags. If a tool of that kind is added, its cookies will be listed here and will be covered by the banner before they are set.
5. Cookies set when you leave this site
Ask JTT opens a Microsoft Forms page (forms.office.com). Once you are on that page, Microsoft may set its own cookies under Microsoft’s cookie notice. We do not control those cookies.
A link to the Journeys to Treasury LinkedIn page, or to a Partner website, does not by itself set that organisation’s cookies. Cookies are set only if you follow the link and the destination site places them.
6. Your choices
When you first visit, a cookie banner should allow you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and to change that choice later. Necessary cookies remain in place so the site can function.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Guidance is published by the browser makers:
• Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
• Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies
• Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
• Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies
Blocking necessary cookies may stop forms, or other parts of the site, from working. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you from reading the site.
Squarespace publishes the current platform list at support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507.
7. Legal basis
Necessary cookies are used because they are required to provide the site you have asked to use. Analytics cookies are used on the basis of your consent, where a banner is shown and the law requires consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time through the banner or by clearing cookies. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
8. Changes
We will update this policy if the cookies on the site change, for example if an analytics or video tool is connected. The date at the top of this page will change.
9. Contact
Questions about cookies can be sent to the same contact as in the Privacy Policy.
