Welcome to the tenth edition of Journeys to Treasury, a landmark collaboration between BNP Paribas, the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), PwC, and SAP.

Launched in 2016, this annual report has chronicled the evolution of corporate treasury, from foundational practices such as cash pooling and centralisation to cutting-edge developments in automation, ESG integration, and artificial intelligence.

In an era marked by macroeconomic volatility, regulatory shifts, and technological advancements, treasurers must reinforce core competencies while anticipating emerging frontiers.

Featuring insights from BNP Paribas, EACT, PwC, and SAP, alongside six corporate case studies, the tenth-anniversary edition examines how corporate treasurers are strengthening core operations whilst preparing for transformative change across payments, liquidity management, and digital innovation.
